Practical nurses play a vital role in patient care in long-term care facilities and outpatient clinics. The aging baby-boomer generation is driving up the need for medical and rehabilitative nursing skills. Due to the national nursing shortage, practical nursing demands in acute care hospitals is also increasing. They are returning to play a larger role in bedside patient care.
This will not only be a school, but a truly immersive experience where graduates make an immediate impact upon entering the workforce.
