To apply for the practical nursing program, we required that you have obtained a high school diploma, GED, or certificate from Department of Education for homeschooled individuals. We will need a copy of your transcripts, which will be submitted along with your application and payment of $25.00 for the application fee. You also have the option of completing an electronic application and paying the fee in person or over the phone.
We welcome nontraditional students who have pursued other interests and/or have other responsibilities, and are now looking to further their education and career through our practical nursing program!
Applicants will be required to take the TEAS test which will assess academic preparedness to enter the health science field. Areas of testing will include: reading, science, math, English and language usage.
An overall score of greater than 50% as well as a greater than 55% score in reading and math must be achieved.
A fee of $70.00 for this exam will be paid by the prospective student before taking the exam.
