Practical Nursing Director Tammy Sanfilippo, MBA, RN
Meadville Medical Center has embarked on the process of establishing a practical nursing program. The training program, under the MMC Institute for Healthcare Professionals (MMC IHP), is the first educational-based program offered by Meadville Medical Center.
With the pending closure of Sharon Regional Medical Center’s School of Nursing, Meadville Medical Center recently announced plans to take over that school’s RN program. More details on the RN program will be released as they become available.
Practical nurses play a vital role in patient care in long term care facilities, outpatient clinics and acute care hospitals. Becoming a nurse is a very rewarding career which allows you to be able to provide compassionate care for your patients at their time of need. There is no better time than now to become a practical nurse.
