Meadville Medical Center’s New Practical Nursing Program

This will not only be a school, but a truly immersive experience where graduates make an immediate impact upon entering the workforce.

Practical Nursing Director Tammy Sanfilippo, MBA, RN

The Institute for Healthcare Professionals

Meadville Medical Center has embarked on the process of establishing a practical nursing program. The training program, which will be under the MMC Institute for Healthcare Professionals (MMC IHP), is the first educational-based program offered by Meadville Medical Center.

With the pending closure of Sharon Regional Medical Center’s School of Nursing, Meadville Medical Center recently announced plans to take over that school’s RN program. More details on the RN program will be released as they become available.

There is no better time than now to become a practical nurse.
