Education and Training
for Healthcare Professionals

The Institute for Healthcare Professionals

Meadville Medical Center’s Institute for Healthcare Professionals (IHP) was established to offer educational programs for individuals interested in pursuing healthcare-related careers.  IHP started in 2024 with a practical nursing program and went on to add the Sharon School of Nursing’s RN program. The Institute will potentially expand to offer other training programs.

Meadville Medical Center’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Philip Pandolph has stated: “We are optimistic this will benefit MMC and other local healthcare providers, as well as benefit the entire community by preserving and enhancing local access to in-demand healthcare-related careers.”
